Kylie Dixon
Founder & Director
Kylie founded The Bid Coordinator in 2018 after identifying a need for a construction-specific tender strategy, management and design agency.
With a double degree in architecture and construction management, Kylie offers over eight years of built environment/infrastructure experience from roles including fit-out project manager, estimator and contract administrator across Australian Tier 1 and 2 companies within Australia, including Lendlease.
Kylie has worked on private and government bids ranging in value from $500,000 to $2.5 billion, and combines an eye for clean design and writing with technical knowledge and strategic thinking.
Kylie brings the ability to rapidly synthesise tender strategy, analyse clients and competitors and present complex source material cleanly.
Lucy Dixon
Human Resources Manager
Lucy is responsible for general staff morale. She achieves this by demanding high quality belly rubs from the entire team.
When she’s not working hard (like a dog, apparently), Lucy manages an extensive portfolio of bones and balls, many which can be found under the couch. Lucy’s responsibilities include digging holes, obnoxious tail wagging and causing a general ruckus.
With over 10 months experience in this role, Lucy is a proven team member. Whilst laws and legislation might not be her forte, sniffing butts, chasing sticks and naps certainly are.
Her motto is ‘Woooooof!!!!’
Bob Barrett
Photographer
Bob is a Melbourne-based photographer with a broad commercial, architecture and construction photography background.
With experience in marketing and photography for brands such as City of Sydney, Rapha, Skoda, Total Construction, NSW Department of Planning, Sass and Bide and Urbanlist, Bob has worked with many of our subcontractors and builders to produce usable, approachable shots for both print and online use.
An electrician in his earlier working career, Bob understands the construction industry and can bring the best out of every shot to produce a quality story and image.

“The Bid Coordinator team are construction industry experts with real hands-on experience. They helped guide us and together we produced an RFP submission that was vastly improved, and something we are proud of and confident in!”
Your secret weapon is our experienced team.
Our team has the technical understanding of the built environment; we can help your company with technical construction-specific methodologies and construction solutions.
Some builders who have worked with us have gone on to achieve a 90% win rate.
3 benefits of using an external, construction-specific bid consultant.
-
Many companies think that they have a ‘great’ submission, as assessors don’t have the time or knowledge to tell them how what a great tender actually looks like (it’s a totally encompassing effort). We will assess where you are at and help you achieve results that you cannot do yourself.
-
We find that too many companies are comfortable with ‘the same narrative’. The Bid Coordinator challenges status quo answers to develop your story and construction solutions.
-
Our staff are construction and architecture specialists who have undergone construction proposal specific training and development to improve our craft, this means we understand how to add technical value to your submissions and we understand what the industry is REALLY looking for.
