The easiest way to instantly improve your bid writing!
If I had to give anyone ONE tip to become better writers it would be this ONE word…
“So?”
People are not sold on WHAT the product is, rather on WHAT it will do for them and make them feel.
To do this - add ‘so’.. it will automatically help you create client focused copy.
Hypothetically: ‘our customer service ensures 60 minute onsite response SO that our clients can resume normal operation as soon as possible’.
You would be surprised at how many stop before ‘so’ and assume that your customer already knows the benefit.
Skipping ‘benefits’ in your proposals is often a result of being ‘too close to your own work’ and puts the customers in a position where they can draw their own seperate conclusion (perhaps not the one you want!) to what the benefit to them is… if any!
